Dutch Elm Disease (DED) Monitoring
Many residents are used to seeing the Manitoba Natural Resources & Northern Development staff driving or walking around both public and private properties while they conduct their work. The surveyors wear high visibility vests and government issued I.D. This year, their staff may also be surveying on bicycles, working in the evenings and weekends, and wearing other protective equipment, including masks. Though the staff may not approach every resident or house before entering onto properties to conduct inspections, they will always ring doorbells or knock on doors prior to taking branch samples, marking trees or identifying firewood piles for removal.
Please review the Dutch Elm Disease – DED_Public_Notice_2022, if you have any questions please contact the Manitoba Tree Line: 204-945-7866 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
We thank everyone for their cooperation in this matter.
