With over 200 community events throughout the year there is always something to do in Carman.
Located at the junction of highways 3 and 13, 40 minutes southwest of Winnipeg, in southern Manitoba’s Pembina Valley, Carman, a town of 3,082 has been the business and social centre for the Rural Municipality of Dufferin for over 100 years.
Carman is the first rural community in Manitoba to be part of the Safe Communities Canada initiative, and has also earned the ‘Age Friendly’ designation with it’s accessibility and and age friendly community activities and services.
Carman is also home to many great activities for everyone – Baseball Diamonds, a public pool, golf course, curling club, skating rink for hockey and other on ice fun, Snowmobile trails tennis courts and the list just goes on and on!
